Your data & security

Who owns my data?

You do. Your invoices, clients, staff and financial records belong to your business. We never sell your data, never share it with other customers, and never use it for advertising.

Can I take my data out?

Yes, any time. Owners on Business plans and above can export every record — clients, invoices, expenses, products, payroll and more — as standard CSV files in one ZIP from Toolbox → Data Export. There is no lock-in: your accountant can open those files in Excel.

Is it secure?

All traffic between your device and TitanX is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are stored only as salted one-way hashes — we cannot read them. Payment secrets (like M-Paisa merchant keys) are stored encrypted. Staff accounts see only what their role allows, and every important action is recorded in your account's Audit Log.

What if I stop paying?

Your account drops to the free tier — your data is not deleted. You can still sign in, read everything, and export it. Renew any time (M-Paisa or card) and everything is exactly where you left it.

What if I delete my account?

Deletion is scheduled and finalised 60 days later. During that window you can change your mind by simply logging in. After 60 days your data is permanently removed from our systems and purged from backups on our normal rotation.

Backups & availability

Your data is backed up automatically every day. If something goes wrong on our side, we restore from backup — you don't lose your books because a laptop died or a browser crashed. The app also keeps core screens (like the POS register) working through short internet outages and syncs when you're back online.

Fiji tax compliance

TitanX computes Fiji VAT (12.5%), FNPF and PAYE, and the Lodgement Centre tracks your filings with figures that match your actual invoices, expenses and pay runs. Note: FRCS's VAT Monitoring System (VMS) requires businesses in gazetted phases to issue fiscal receipts through an FRCS-accredited system — TitanX is not yet a VMS-accredited point-of-sale, so check your obligations at frcs.org.fj.
